  The museum holds a broad collection of international art, from the Middle Ages to the 20th century: nearly 4,000 items of Egyptian Art, 5,000 artworks of classical antiquities, over 3,000 old masters' paintings from the 13th to the late 18th centuries, 600 pieces of sculpture, 10,000 drawings and 100,000 prints, plus the Collection of Modern and Contemporary Art - circa 1,000 masterworks of painting and sculpture.
