The olympian gods star again on the wide screen in Chris Columbus’s latest film, Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief.
Visting the Metropolitan Museum in NY Percy is attacked by his teacher who suddenly turns into one of the furies and drags him into the unknown world of the half-gods born from the union of humans and gods.
Percy finds out that he is one of them, son of Poseidon, and takes part in the fight to get Zeus’s thunderbolt back to his owner.
Along the way he meets Zeus, Poseidon, Athena, a satyr, Hermes, Hades and his wife Persephone, Hera, Demeter, Apollo, Artemis, Aphrodite, Hephaestus, Medusa, Chiron, Charon.
